Fiordland Map
Information Design - Massey University Wellington
Date: 2010
This large map of Fiordland National Park folds down to a brochure with information on the Mohua (Yellowhead), one of New Zealand's endangered forest birds.
The map provides information on tramping tracks and campsites within Fiordland National Park, while also showing the distribution of remaining Mohua and areas where protection programs are in place.
A report was designed to organise details and statistics about Mohua before the information was condensed into the map format, with the purpose of raising awareness about one of New Zealand's endangered species while providing visitors with useful information about the park.
