'Oceanic Feeling' Wine label

Garage Project approached me to create wine label artwork and accompanying promotional poster for their 2019 vintage release 'Oceanic Feeling'. A hazy white Sauvignon Blanc fermented on Pinot Gris skins, "the wine is a vibrant energetic expression of the fruit, and place it's from - wine from the Aotearoa, the Pacific..." The design features a hand-lettered title and swirling illustration of grapevines morphed with the ocean.
Garage Project is brewery in Wellington, New Zealand. A local leader in the craft beer industry, they are known for pushing boundaries, reinterpreting styles, and for their varied selection of packaging artwork showcasing the talent of artists locally and abroad. 'Garage Project Crushed' is their foray into wines, a collaboration with grape growers in Martinborough and Nelson. The fruit is fermented in the heart of Wellington at Garage Project's Marion St Wild Workshop.
